Meaningful Learning Begins Beyond the Familiar
Edventure Travel designs educational school tours that help students step into new cultures, communities and ways of thinking, with programs shaped by care, curiosity and responsibility.

Learning Shaped by Real Experience
We believe meaningful learning begins beyond the familiar. When students step into new cultures, communities and perspectives, understanding becomes personal, practical and lasting.
Every Edventure program is shaped with care, curiosity and responsibility. We design experiences that encourage thoughtful engagement with the world, helping students learn not just by seeing, but by taking part.
Through travel, students are invited to question, connect and reflect, building knowledge that extends beyond the classroom and stays with them long after they return home from their journey.

02
Real Impact
Community-led activities designed to create genuine impact and meaningful student participation on tour.
03
High Standards
Every program is carefully planned around learning outcomes, positive impact and student safety from start to finish.
04
Growth Through Travel
Learning situations that build confidence, resilience and personal growth beyond the classroom.
Social, Environmental and Economic Impact
Every Edventure program creates meaningful learning while supporting people, places and communities. Our framework guides each journey through culture, environmental care, local partnerships and transparency.
Positive Impact
At Edventure Travel, we’re serious about making a positive difference. Every journey is designed to create lasting social, environmental and economic benefits in the countries and communities students visit.
Our impact framework guides how we plan tours, projects and experiences, from cultural preparation and community-led partnerships to environmental care, fair local spending and transparent business practices. Each decision is made with respect for the people, places and natural environments connected to the program.
This helps ensure every Edventure experience creates meaningful learning for students while supporting communities responsibly, strengthening local connections and encouraging more thoughtful travel.

Social Impact
We are accountable to every person connected to an Edventure program, including students, staff, suppliers, local partners and the communities we visit. Every tour is designed with respect, safety and cultural awareness at its centre, so students can engage with new places in a thoughtful and responsible way.
Students are prepared to learn from local people, customs and community settings before they take part. Through ethical partnerships, guided reflection and community-led projects, they experience meaningful connection while understanding that positive impact begins with listening, respect and shared benefit.

Environmental Impact
We aim to reduce the environmental footprint of every journey while helping students understand the natural environments they visit. Programs are planned with care, using suitable transport, responsible itineraries and activities that avoid unnecessary pressure on local ecosystems and cultural landscapes.
Students may take part in hands-on environmental projects that restore, protect or support local places. These experiences help them see how travel, conservation, climate awareness and everyday choices are connected, giving them a more practical understanding of environmental responsibility.

Economic Impact
We believe responsible travel should support local economies in practical and lasting ways. Wherever possible, we work with local suppliers, family-run businesses, homestays, restaurants, guides and community organisations, helping ensure that money spent on tour benefits the people and places students visit.
This approach helps spread the benefits of travel more widely and creates more authentic learning experiences for students. It also helps them understand how tourism can support livelihoods, small businesses and community development when it is planned fairly, transparently and with local priorities in mind.

Develop the confidence to question, reflect and act responsibly
Work towards a more peaceful, fair and sustainable world

What Schools Say About Travelling With Us
Hear from teachers, school leaders and students who experienced Edventure programs firsthand, from careful planning to support on tour.
Billy's expertise and knowledge has been instrumental in shaping an itinerary that has met my needs and demands.
These trips have always been professionally organised but also had a real personal touch from the team in Melbourne with all the preparatory work and information evenings through to the tour leader and local guides that have been selected and trained. In the nearly 20 years of running these trips at my schools I have never felt a need to look anywhere else for providers as what Billy and Mia have done has always been outstanding, and I thoroughly recommend them and Edventure Travel for your school or organisation.

Our recent Service & Cultural tour of Cambodia was a wonderful experience for the students, parents and staff. From the initial contact with Mia and Billy, to the overall organisation of the activities, service activities, accommodation and travel; to the professionalism, friendliness and 'nothing we can't organise' attitude of the tour guides; to the country itself, with its rich history and natural beauty. The whole experience has left our touring party wanting more.
We couldn't have wished for a better tour.

I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Edventure organised a truly spectacular trip. Having now led 11 overseas school tours, I can confidently say this was by far the best trip I have been involved in. Communication was outstanding from the outset, particularly with parents, who felt exceptionally well informed and reassured. Pre-departure information was comprehensive and meticulous, covering travel arrangements, accommodation, local guides, safety, health considerations and recommended inoculations.
I would highly recommend Edventure Travel to any school considering overseas travel. Their professionalism, attention to detail, care for student wellbeing and commitment to meaningful educational experiences are exceptional.

The team tailored the itinerary to suit the specific needs of our three sister schools from different states in Australia, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for everyone involved.
Safety was a top priority. Billy’s team conducted thorough risk assessments of our accommodations and school venues. They established clear communication with the schools, ensuring they were informed of our plans and enhancing our off-campus activities.
We highly recommend Edventure Travel for any school or group looking for a well-organised, immersive, and safe travel experience.

Edventure Travel organised the 2023 Simpson Prize Commemorative Study Tour to Singapore in April. Ten students, teachers and an accredited Australian War Memorial historian from Canberra participated in this week-long history and culture excursion.
Students toured and learned about prominent historical locations associated with World War II and the Japanese occupation of Singapore. It involved travelling to the sites of the Allies' surrender, the Japanese invasion landing beaches, and the infamous Changi Prison and Chapel.
Our trip was well planned, and everything went really well….Some students did not want to leave! I feel very honoured to have been part of this experience. It has been an absolute highlight of my career.

I have been liaising with Billy, Mia, Vinh and their team for over 10 years on HVGS Community Projects to Vietnam. Every tour has been designed to our needs, meeting the service elements that are inherent in our philosophy as a school.
Each tour has enabled us to engage in meaningful cultural immersion activities, ensuring our students grow and develop with an understanding of what it means to be a global student. These experiences, from the house building, the interaction with students at the local schools, to the time spent working with the disabled students, have all been eye opening life experiences. The preparation for our trips has been well structured and supported by Billy, which is the basis of a successful trip.

Our students absolutely loved the trip on the whole and it was an invaluable experience in maturity and independence for many of the students.
I personally found Edventure exceptional deal within the organisation and preparation for the trip. Managing overseas excursions in the current times requires an enormous amount of compliance and risk management procedures and I was really impressed with the level of organisation and responsiveness of Edventure at each step of the way.
Once overseas, we were greeted by two friendly tour guides who had a deep knowledge of the local culture and history.

Exceptional. This is the fifth time I have been fortunate to travel with Billy, Mia and the Edventure Team. Vietnam 2025 was again unforgettable, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Before, during and after the trip, nothing has been too much trouble, in fact they continue to make the experience more enjoyable through the support that was provided. Looking forward to Vietnam 2026. Thank you, Billy and Mia.
